We should be specific as to what we are talking about. I'd be shooting with it. And I am now as I have it for the M and I think is the same lens expect it has an M on it with an M mount. There is nothing "slow" about an 90mm f2 lens. Especially when shooting digitally. Leica seems to me which is why I like it to be a company which gets smarter as it goes along. When it comes out with a new lens its better than what comes before. Usually by a long shot. As everything they've learned about optics during that time gets put into that lens. The old classic designs are great as long as I get my basics covered first. And my basics are the current offerings from Leica. Their most recent designs. And I don't mind getting their ears. Tip of their nose even. Glasses. More than just their eyelashes. -------------------- Mark William Rabiner Photography http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/lugalrabs/ mark at rabinergroup.com Cars: http://tinyurl.com/2f7ptxb > From: Tim Gray <tgray at 125px.com> > Reply-To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Date: Sat, 6 Nov 2010 13:09:00 -0400 > To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Subject: [Leica] 80 Summilux R (was 'Am I being stupid?
