I'd guess that the 80 lux at f:2 would compare very favorably. I simply prefer having the extra stop lux lineup. I also have the 35 and 50 crons and they do display slightly more contrast than the lux's in those focal lengths. If you're shooting film that may make a difference to you. With digital I'd prefer to dial in the contrast.
