Thanks, Bob.  I don't have too many books, Well, My wife thinks I have too 
many, but I don't.  ;-)  I will look into the videos, as I do like a more 
visual approach also.  There is a presentation on Photoshop at the Leica 
Seminar next month also.

While there are many good books on both, there are also many good
(free) websites offering excellent video tutorials.  I found I have
too many books so I've started watching videos instead.  For example,
try http://www.adobe.com/support/tutorials/?product=lightroom (the
links with 'tv' in them).
