The imbalance of heavy large lens to small tlight camera will be an interesting problem in the handling but i'msure you'll figure it out. If you are still looking for a great small easy to handle 135 and are willing to get another adapter, get the Minolta MD adapter and the Minolta MD 135/3.5. The Minolta 135's are justly famous but the larger 2.8's don't fit your bill. The MD 135/3.5 is really small (49mm thread and perhaps three inches long) and very very good. Available for peanuts.
