You do not want to get your hosting from your ISP, much better to use a dedicated hosting company. FWIW, of my sites, nathanfoto.com is hosted in Atlanta by http://www.vianetworks.net/, my frozenlight.eu site is hosted by a company called Amen (http://www.amenworld.com), and greatpix.eu is a domain that I have pointed at Smugmug.
