To be honest, I think they are all pretty anti-social - if you want to see a good all-in fight, throw a handful of leftover fish and chips to a flock of gulls in Whitby - really vicious and selfish bu--ers they are. Here's my holiday wake-up caller, it sat on the chimney outside my bedroom window and started squawking as soon as the sun came up: Looking a little intrepid http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/DMS/Birds/_MG_0334.jpg.html Looking a little disgusted: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/DMS/Birds/_MG_0335.jpg.html Looking a little supercilious http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/DMS/Birds/_MG_0336.jpg.html They spend a lot of their time trying to avoid their offspring too. Which I would too if our grown-up but still-at-home son followed me around going Phweeeep-Phweeep all day and begging for food. With a vicious look in it's eye - I'm not sure whether it meant me or its offspring http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/DMS/Birds/Whitby_2009_film206.jpg.html Cheers Douglas Nathan Wajsman wrote: > No Dick, the first one IS the prettiest.
