I signed the petition. As you say it probably demonstrated what I  
wrote is true. I bought a DMR a short while ago. I have a Canon  
adapter for the long lenses which I rarely stop down, so the lack of  
auto-diaphram is a non-issue.
That is all I hope for now. The R lenses obviously will never be able  
to mount on the S, so thats it...
