[Leica] Why the mad rush to use Canon or Nikon bodies?

Um I dunno about bigger markets but New Orleans, Dallas, Houston Newspapers,
Associated Press and UPI all did their (our) own souping and printing.  In
TV, we had lab guys to run the film.
