I took a "child" from one of my mother's cacti when I left home 40 years ago. It still flowers most years, and has spawned quite a few "children" of its own. Those flowes are lovely aren't they but very short lived. cheers, Frank ----- Original Message ---- From: Nathan Wajsman <photo at frozenlight.eu> To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org>; leica at freelists.org; Olympus Camera Discussion <olympus at thomasclausen.net> Sent: Saturday, 22 August, 2009 9:33:09 PM Subject: [Leica] Nathan's PAD 21/08/2009: a magic cactus I do not usually take flower pictures, but if you read the caption, you will understand why I photographed this one: http://www.greatpix.eu/Other/Picture-A-Day/4253606_netUM#626879977_C4cPq-O-LB Incidentally, this is what happened last year: http://www.greatpix.eu/Other/Picture-A-Day/4253606_netUM#386085717_spPQd-O-LB Nathan Nathan Wajsman Alicante, Spain http://www.frozenlight.eu http://www.greatpix.eu http://www.nathanfoto.com Books: http://www.blurb.com/bookstore/search?search=wajsman&x=0&y=0 PICTURE OF THE WEEK: http://www.fotocycle.dk/paws Blog: http://www.fotocycle.dk/blog _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
