At the Look3 workshops in Charlottesville, Justin was there from Leica lending out M8s and all lenses. Several of the young photojournalists attending the Eugene Richards workshop borrowed M8s for the week. All of them were very enthusiastic about the digital Leicas. One or two had used film Leicas and all had heard of their reputation. I heard comments about how easy the Leicas were to carry around and how unobtrusive they were for photographing people. After they looked at the files everybody was exclaiming about sharpness and detail straight out of the camera. I know two of them were convinced by the end of the week that they had to have M8s. Leica does a great job lending out cameras at these events. I wish they could also get them into PJ schools somehow for the students to try. Tina Tina Manley www.tinamanley.com
