It's not that I don't like flash with the M8 or 8.2, I simply never use a flash with a Leica M. They have always been available light cameras for me and they always will be. When I travel, I don't take a flash - I have a Noctilux and fast film. It would be nice if Leica could find a way to make the shutter quiet and have a 1/250 synch speed and a 1/8000 top shutter speed, but if that's not possible I'll take quiet over fast for my purposes. I'm not doubting that it is a problem for some people, it just isn't for me.
