I've had a lot of trouble with my 35/1.4 asph, including a lot of flare, despite Leica saying that the lens is 'within specification' but the Nokton I borrowed was excellent. I'll probably get a Nokton later this year or next year. The 35/1.2 Nokton has less focus shift than the 35/1.4 asph, which matters to me.
