Then this post about Men of the Saddle book and your bike riding all came together. :-) Trust me never go on horse back with 3 M cameras around your neck! Bad move if the horse is spooked and decides to buck you off! It's bucking, turning, twisting and lunging one way then another, head down and up and I'm trying to hang onto the mane, the saddle horn, the cameras are swinging around all over the place. I let go of the reins with one hand to hold cameras tightly to my chest. But they're still banging back and forth and I'm freaking out believing I am going to get killed! It was the ride from hell!! I finally managed to get the reins back in hand and reefed up as hard as I could and she, you might know it would be she horse! :-) Stopped! :-) Me? I could hardly breath! And holding back as hard as I could from peeing my pants! :-) Just another life experience in the wild wild world of being a photographer. :-) She settled down and we gently walked back to the round-up camp! My heart took sometime longer to slow down! :-) Cheers, ted -----Original Message----- From: lug-bounces+tedgrant=shaw.ca at leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+tedgrant=shaw.ca at leica-users.org] On Behalf Of Nathan Wajsman Sent: Sunday, May 10, 2009 9:56 PM To: Leica Users Group Subject: Re: [Leica] WAS: Nathan's Book List NOW: BEING PUBLISHED REAL TIME! I have a copy of Men of the Saddle, Ted. The pics are great, the reproduction not as good as the later medicine books. But it is certainly one of the important books in my large collection of photo books.
