As I (and others before me) have said, the amount of detail in a well- exposed M8 image is superior to almost anything else. Having said that, I am keeping the E3 for the occasions when an SLR is required. The Olympus lenses I have for it (the 12-60 and 50-200) are very, very good--maybe not as good as Leica but certainly better than the Canon lenses I used before (and yes, I had L lenses).
