Why am I not surprised? Good heavens, Nathan! This is a moderately socialist Supreme Court. You have no idea what a true "right wing" Court would do much less an "extreme right wing" Court. A reasonable right-wing Court, for instance, would by now have abolished the Federal Trade Commission, the Environmental Pollution Agency, and 95% of the rest of the US government, including about a third of the Defense Department. An extreme right-wing Court would by now have turned almost all government back to the States as our Constitution mandates. The "controlled economy" imposed on the US since Franklin Roosevelt by the Leftie Loonies has benefited business as it prevents the operation of free competition in a free marketplace by permitting companies to simply bribe their way to success instead of having to actually provide quality products at the lowest price. Certainly, groups such as the US Chamber of Commerce and publications such as THE WALL STREET JOURNAL are most concerned that the current Court might actually force businesses to operate in a freer economy. You might want to revisit your copy of Ludwig von Mises for discussion. He makes it clear. Marc msmall@aya.yale.edu Cha robh b?s fir gun ghr?s fir!
