Omigawd!  L. vonMises, Ron Paul, Lew Rockwell and the Austrian School?

Fortunately the only von Mises theory that I am familiar with is the 
Octahedral Stress Theory . All stresses
are shear stresses.  I hope that it is a different vonMises!
