Dave,

It works very well. Just be careful which lenses you use to avoid the  
mirror interfering with the back of the lens. Doug Herr put a list  
together of some problem lenses. As an example the 24mm  Elmarit and  
35mm Summilux plus lenses wider then 21mm may be a problem. I use 5  
or 6 R lenses  (mostly macro and telephoto) on my EOS 1DS MkII with  
very good results.
