What's happen if someone take a picture a se?orita called Bruni? Excuse me! A Madame! Saludos cordiales Lluis -----Mensaje original----- De: lug-bounces+luisripoll=telefonica.net@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+luisripoll=telefonica.net@leica-users.org] En nombre de Nathan Wajsman Enviado el: jueves, 17 de julio de 2008 8:36 Para: Leica Users Group Asunto: Re: [Leica] Lecia Street Photography It is a grey area, Gene. French privacy laws are very strict. Basically, even for non-commercial use and even when the person photographed is in a public place, you are not allowed to publish their images (without their consent) if they depict the persons in a delicate situation of some sort (I think the language in the law is more like humiliating). So pictures of people smooching probably fall into a grey area. Recent French case law, as referenced here on the list yesterday, does seem to shift the balance somewhat towards the photographers.
