Must have been impressive indeed in operation, too. I recognise the tail end of an F111 in the background there (I spent quite some time around these). We call them pigs over this way. Where is this facility? Is it like the boneyard at Davis-Monthan, or a display area? Hi Hoppy, Thank you for the kind words. Here's another Mustang, taken a year earlier at Chino, using the M4/35 'cron on Tri-X: _http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Ira+Silverman/Aircraft/Mustang.jpg.html_ (http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Ira+Silverman/Aircraft/Mustang.jpg.html) And one of my favorites of a later aircraft, taken at March Field using Canon gear. At this point, I'm using my Leica set almost exclusively for B&W, and the Canon for color -subject to change without notice ;-). _http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Ira+Silverman/Aircraft/SR-71+March+Field.jpg .html_ (http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Ira+Silverman/Aircraft/SR-71+March+Field.jpg.html) Best Regards, Ira Silverman Irvine, CA ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com. _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
