Half a day? Absurd! Anything longer than while-you-wait seems outrageous to me if the place cared at all about customer service. An extreme case of underpromising and overdelivering! Still, that kind of customer loyalty - thinking poor service is good - makes me wish I had Apple stock, and lots of it. ;) Nick ----- Original Message ---- From: Dave Mason <leica@dmason.net> To: Leica Users Group <lug@leica-users.org> Sent: Tuesday, 20 March, 2007 5:10:25 PM Subject: Re: [Leica] OT: Apple computer repair I have had excellent service with apple as well, especially with repairs. However, if I had a bad power supply and they told me they had one in stock, my first reaction would be to wait for it while they unscrewed then rescrewed the four small screws that hold it in. 3 to 5 days for a power supply? They must be playing video games in the back. Glad you got it fixed though!
