Why then, compare this little jewel with a Nikon slr? One of the questions coming to mind had to do with those superb lenses. A 50mm Summicron mounted on one of my precision little M6s is a 50mm. I could not trust the performance of a 50mm which became a 65mm due to sensor size. Also, a while back many found my penchant for using UV filters on my Leica glass almost sinful. Where are they now? I wished it were easier to ignore this entire M8 issue. The problem is my upbringing. An early exposure to Orwell has cursed me since day one. /HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE.....
