Don't know where 'they' are. I'm here; and one of those folks who
does not put filters on lenses unless I need their effect. I have
nothing against using filters to achieve desired effects. I include
UV filters on lenses when I feel the need for protection: usually in
dusty, dirty, dangerous, and or wet environments.
