I'm also strongly in favour of going back to the old format.

The LUG volume hasn't bothered me, even if I only get to read 10% of
it at times.

The new format not only likely causes me to miss some responses, but
then also puts multiple copies into my mailbox(es) if someone
responds to one of my posts.

I usually hit option-reply on Eudora, which used to just put a reply
header on LUG mail. Now it does that, and replies to everyone else
who had previously been replied to.

So now, if I just hit option-reply in a thread which has had a number
of responses, I'll generate as many e-mails as all the people who
have previously responded plus one.

I could wind up with 20 copies of the same message!

I know the header should be edited, but the problem with the previous
format was lack of header editing. If the same lack of editing
happens now, the LUG volume could increase greatly, but due to a lot
of redundant posts.

Please, please, back to the old. :-)
