I suppose I'm just saying that that kinda money ain't that rare at  
the moment. Times are really pretty good: yes I know there are plenty  
of exceptions, but the timing to introduce a digital M is not too  
bad. Most of us are "used" to the current exchange rates as well.

The Leica Digital will not be the first camera the kids will buy, but  
there will be a fascination with older photojournalism as they learn  
their craft, and with the price of the camera, almost the same as a  
TRiE lens, they must be keeping the price down quite a bit from what  
I had expected.
