But a M8 with a 3-Elmar is just out of reach for 99.99% of the so called iPod generation, positive economy forecasting or not. Having 250$ spare for an iPod or $9500k for M8/3-E isn't the same, not only for kids, but me too, for instance. The average M8 user will be over 35 years old, and belong to the top-10% income class. Maybe one of them is also owner of an iPod, but talking of "reaching the iPod generation for selling them a Leica M8" is bigmouthed rubbish. The usual marketing blabla, all hollow words. The guy who said that doens't know much about Leica, or iPod, or both. The M8 will be hip and be bought for that reason, too, for shure. But not by those belonging to the "iPod generation", but more likely by those of the "Porsche Cayenne Turbo S generation".
