The low light capability could be better, but the image quality is superb. I am not only talking of sharpness. Other DSLR may produce sharp pictures, too (and skin tones that look like plastic). IMHO the outstanding feature of the DMR is the color rendition. After having used Canon and Fuji Pro DSLR, for the first time with digitals I found that the finished print had that "Kodachrome" look, as opposed to the Fuji or Ektachrome colors of the competiion. Some may prefer a skin rendition that looks like plastic, I definitely prefer the Leica rendition. As far as I am concerned, there is no need, right now, for a Mark II.
