Having just sent out a post about how good Sailor nibs are - and I probably should have qualified that by saying among modern production pens - I also love the 51 in all three on its incarnations and also the 61. Just happens that I have both a 51 and an English 61 in my shirt pocked at the moment. The 51 is a great pen. Have you ever encountered the third, and final version of the 51, the so called Transitional 51 or the 51 model III. It looks like a cross between a 51 and a 61. Great pen.
