Like Mark, I always cheerfully ignored the "100ml rule" and it always worked fine. I was not trying to be cheap, but it was simply a question of using a 2-roll tank (500 ml total volume) and a 1:3 dilution for pictorial reasons, which implied 125 ml of XTOL to be shared between the two rolls.
