Oh, B.D., you poor thing! Do you need a cold rag for your forehead now
that you've had to endure that? Or maybe some of Rush Limbaugh's
headache medicine would help! ;-)

K.

Speaking off...Last night driving home from a shoot I was - God forgive
me - listening to Matt Drudge on the radio (right-wing blowhard posing
as hard-boiled fedora wearing reporter for those of you who've never
heard of him.) Anyway, Drudge was actually bemoaning what he views as
increasing censorship in the name of patriotism, and covering up of the
reality of what's going on in Iraq and elsewhere. He was also talking
about the news yesterday that the FBI is - once again - spying on
protest groups, and he actually had the good sense to say that he did
not want to see dissent suppressed because, as he put it, the "next time
a left-wing administration takes over" in the U.S., HE wants to be able
to protest, and if things keep going the way they are, he won't be able
too. He referred to the photos of the cops in Miami dealing with the
protesters down there and said it looked like cops in a banana republic
- - and this is coming from a darling of the Right.

Those of you north of the border (or south who are close enough to it to
get
CBC) - this is a very compelling documentary about news gathering in the
Iraq War.

"These are the stories that weren't't told by the media during the Iraq
war. CBC NEWS goes straight to the source, to journalists, camera
operators and photographers from news organizations around the world,
who reveal the lethal risks they faced, as well as the untold horrors
they witnessed."

There was a one hour version on last night. The full two hour version is
supposed on next Sunday on CBC at 10pm I think.
