They are not removeable easily, > or, depending on age and model, at all. What are you talking about??? The 35mm Summaron f3.5 with eyes was designed for the M3 camera. But it can be used on the M2, M3, M4, M6. The lens was produced from 1954 to 1960 with a total "M3" production of 19,159 units according to the Leica Pocket Book. The manufacturer code was SOONC-MW. The eyes are removable on this lens. (Why you would want to except to clean the eyes, I don't know). The cam calls up the 50mm frameline on all models. This is not a matter of opinion but of fact. If you or anyone else has information to the contrary, please present it! This list is becoming nearly unusable for any questions regarding equipment ~ since many people seem to have opinions but few facts are presented. I am very fortunate to have come to the list several years ago when there were enough people on it that knew facts and could help me put together a viso system with all the correct adapters. I would hate to try that now from the people currently on this list (with some notable exceptions, Marc). Bill Larsen
