Their web site is pretty lame, if it's:

http://www.ny-camera.com

I guess I should either send them email, or call...huh?

I have personal experience to share. This was about three months ago.

After searching the Web and calling about five stores (the usual
suspects -- good dealers) I ran across NYCV -- which interestingly
enough is NOT in New York but Pennsylvania. They were the ONLY store
that was both an authorized Leica dealer and willing to substantially
discount.

The salesman that helped me on the phone was knowlegable and after
asking what lenses I would be using steered me away from the more
expensive .85 to the .72 M6TTL. He had both in stock.

Their price was several hundred dollars less than the "standard" price.
I DID get the $150 Leica rebate and passport warranty registration.
Shipping was fast, and at a reasonable price. The salesman was very
patient and friendly -- unlike the majority of "real" New York camera
store salesmen who are often in a hurry.

How do they do it? I don't know. Perhaps this is the start of some
competition in Leica pricing. I would buy from them again in a
heartbeat.

I hope this helps.
