HEY GUYS, HEY GUYS!!! WHOA BIG TIME HERE! HELLO, wake-up out there
in LALA land! I haven't got a clue where you derived I'm the owner of
9 M's?

Somebody stated they had 9 M's, not me! Miro questioned why anyone
needed 9?

I responded to Miro on the basis that working photographers who cover
the world require more cameras than the usual amateur who rarely
ventures farther than 100 miles from his home on a long trip.

At best I've never had more than 3 M's of any kind at any one time as I
work them just fine supplemented by equal amount of R gear. So apart
from the daily work cameras and a few old machines I used long long ago
in a world far far away, I doubt I've got a dozen all told. Of which a
couple from 1932.

So please before anyone else gets all antsy and dewy eyed read my lips!

                                              "I DON'T OWN 9 M'S!"

Although I can understand why a working pro on the road around the world
might have. It's no big deal if you really work hard at it under all
kinds of horrendous conditions. besides surely no one is so stupid they
think the photographer, whomever it was said they had 9, actually uses
them loaded all at the same moment!

Well now to make you feel better about getting that lens may I suggest
the following as a remedy to purchase. just eat one good meal a day
and in the event you smoke and drink, stop both of those activities,
save the money and soon you'll be able to stop drooling and buy that
extra lens. ;-)

>>>>>>>>but nine M cameras sounds like gluttony to me, even if you need
a spare in case one fails on you. I think I would be embarrassed to own
nine M's -- wouldn't stop thinking about all
> the poor starving photographers out there who don't even have one!<<<<<<<<<<

Hey instead of concerning yourself about starving photographers out
there, as quite frankly no one, but no one ever thought about me as a
starving photographer with kids and a wife. I just kicked my ass out the
door every day and found work that paid, sometimes the huge amount of
$3.00 per published picture in the newspaper.

Or did weddings for a total of $25.00 for a white album including 12
8X10 B&W prints.

You might give some thought to Leica collectors who probably have dozens
of cameras and ask yourself how you feel about that.

This still doesn't answer how I suddenly became the so called owner of 9
M's, never happened guys, so leave it be. Have a nice day, go take
pictures as that's just what I've been assigned to do, fortunately for a
tad more than $3.00 per published photo! ;-) And I'll only be using
one M6 with 15 mm Voigtlander attached.
