According to the latest product brochure, the current 80-200 weighs 45.9 oz, is 7.4" long and also takes a 77mm filter. So the new lens is longer by about 1cm and heavier by about 30g...hardly what could be described as "huge" in comparison to the current lens...or comparable to the 70-180 Leica dimensionally.
