In addition to a few of my favorites of recent vintage, I've added a special group of pictures I took last week. They're all of stained glass at a convent in Northwest Missouri, in a town called Clyde (population 65). They're the Benedictine sisters or perpetual adoration, or something like that. The files are a bit big, so they can do justice to the stained glass, but I think they're gorgeous enough to justify the wait. The leaded glass was made between 1910 and 1920 in Innsbruck, Austria. Two lenses used in my R8 for these pictures. The 180 Elmarit, and the 19 Elmarit where there wasn't room to use a longer lens. (The last two at the bottom). Film: Kodak Ektapress 100. Most exposures at 1/3 sec at 5.6. Hope those who take the time to look will enjoy, and see the gorgeous quality of light. By the way, this is an ideal situation where only a reflective meter works. ========== Eric Welch St. Joseph, MO http://www.ponyexpress.net/~ewelch Very funny, Scotty. Now beam down my clothes
