Well, Ben, even here in Europe, including Germany, the Leica prices have been exceeding our inflation with about the same percentage. However, not in Japan, where Leicas and anything else foreign was ridiculously expensive until only ten years ago. There you can pick up a new Leica M6 with passport warranty for only US$1650!
