I had seldom used it since it's big and heavy and I like primes, but I was curious about how it might perform. It is an Asanuma 45-150mm f/3.5 (also sold as a Soligor) with a macro capability at 45mm that means the field of view is about 4 inches on the long side. This picture is the favorite of the ones I shot. It is sharper than I expected, so I'm happy to have it. In a local park there was a derelict wooden cabinet for event announcements that caught my eye.
