Unlike in East Africa, where you seldom see local people on safari, in
India around 80-85% would be domestic tourists. Foreign tourists are a
fairly small percentage of footfalls here, not unlike the USA - which is
why we are not as dependent on tourism as many countries in our
neighbourhood.
