Good job paying attention and getting out.  Cars and Leicas can be
replaced.  Insurance companies can be difficult so I would be in contact
with the most highly rated lawyer around and talk about mental trauma and
ethical issues with the body shop.  If it happened to you there is probably
past history with the shop.  Much like the infamous McDonalds grandmother
coffee spill settlement there was a past history that showed negligence.
