My lens came on an all-black Spotmatic that I bought third-hand from a
friend of mine in 1968.

I eventually had three Spotmatics, and to tell which camera took which
picture, I filed small triangular notches
in the film aperture - one for the black camera, two for one of the silver
ones, and three for the last silver body.
