Subject: [Leica] IMG: Lakefront Photos

After dropping off household hazardous waste at a collection event, I
visited the lakefront and took my first serious pictures in two months.

I like the understated nature of this recent building.

And I like the way, from the other direction, it blocks an ugly, 50-story
eyesore from 1972.  This is my favorite skyline site, and for years the
bright white
U.S. Bank tower dominated the view.

People can rent pedal boats on the Juneau Park Lagoon.  Here the sun and
shadows made the picture for me.

But a cloud bank that came over allowed this shot without harsh tree
shadows on the swans.
