On December 21 more than 6 inches of snow was dumped on Pender Island.
Power went out, of course, as snow laden fir branches crashed down on the
power lines.
It was cloudy so no change to catch the closest Great Conjunction of Jupiter
and Saturn.

And the next day was a winter wonderland:

By the evening of the 22nd the clouds had cleared away and I had a good view
of
the Great Conjunction;

Nikon D500 with 200 - 500 VR plus 1.4 extender. On tripod and closely
cropped.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all.
