Interesting.  Looks like a nightshade and not a nettle.

I recognize this plant from the barnyard, eighty years ago.  I now know 
it to be Carolina Horse Nettle.  I've tried several times to capture it 
in a frame, unsuccessfully.  This is the closest I've come.  If I 
include the large green leaves, the flowers get lost.  So here is my 
Friday attempt.
