Those are the best airborne photos of the Osprey that I've seen.? It is hard for me the believe that, as a USAF Sec. Lt., I was the project engineer on the wind tunnel test of the original proposed configuration that Bell submitted, in the Wright Field 20-Ft Wind Tunnel in 1952.? It took a lot of years to get it sold to the Defense Dept.
