very sadly, most of the dogwoods in our yard have died, especially closer to 
the water.

of the four left, the survivor nearest the water has been driven over 
(mashed to the ground) by well drilling equipment and another event i cannot 
recall the details now that required proping it up again a few years later.

i am not sure if it?s a blight or rising water levels
