Subject: [Leica] RETROSPECT 33

   Once a year Beaumont, Texas conducts a state fair. During preparations
for the event in October, 1970, there occurred one of those pictures that
perhaps should fall into the ?I couldn?t resist? category.

   The managing editor knew he had an important society assignment ?
dreaded by everyone of the photo staff ? so he agreed to publish this
frame, against his better judgement, as an incentive to handle the society
job.
