Hi Doug,
I used three of them motor driven for several years traveling about the
WORLD AND CANADA ON ASSIGNMENTS AND MINE NEVER FAILED ME AT ANYTIME.
EVENTUALLY I TRADED THEM IN & OR SOLD THEM OFF MOVING UP TO LATER VERSIONS.

Hmmmm... I don't recall mentioning why the SL2 appeals to me.  Has anyone
made an unfounded assumption?
