Hi Ted,

Thanks for the very kind words.? Coming from a fellow of your 
background, that has me pumping out my chest, as much as you and I can 
do at our ages.

I was so busy with engineering and management responsibilities toward 
the end of my career that my photography activities, which began in 
1952, sort of fell by the wayside.? It was not until I retired that I 
got to pick up those activities again.? But, I guess I really got active 
after my wife died.? As you know, that's a tough blow.? Living alone, I 
started paying more attention to what was going on around me, and 
started pushing the shutter button more often.

It has been a good way to keep up with great-grandkids as well. 
Occasionally I'm asked to shoot a family group shot when they are 
together.? But, this summer, whether it's age or the global warming, I 
have been limiting my time outside.? Maybe after Labor Day it will 
finally cool off again.
