It's often in a cloud, hence the local saying that "Erice wears a hat." Here, in the lowest part of the town, the "hat" is just above us. <https://www.flickr.com/photos/24844563 at N04/40250435983/in/dateposted-public/> This is my favorite photo from Erice. The moisture from the clouds nourishes green borders around the old stones arranged geometrically in this street behind the town's mother church. <https://www.flickr.com/photos/24844563 at N04/40250435773/in/dateposted-public/> A blue door along the same street: <https://www.flickr.com/photos/24844563 at N04/47163264512/in/dateposted-public/> The town's Norman castle: <https://www.flickr.com/photos/24844563 at N04/47163265012/in/dateposted-public/> <https://www.flickr.com/photos/24844563 at N04/47163264652/in/dateposted-public/> An umbrella pine tree by the castle: <https://www.flickr.com/photos/24844563 at N04/40250436243/in/dateposted-public/> A wall on Via Mantovani, featuring B&W photos. I'm not sure if the theme is Italian movies, film stars, or spaghetti. <https://www.flickr.com/photos/24844563 at N04/47163264692/in/dateposted-public/> Olympus E-M5 and Panasonic 20/1.7.
