That would be something that needs to be confirmed.  My assumption is that
the phones take multiple SIM cards and that is how they connect to the
various networks.  Do you would acquire the appropriate SIM when you arrive
in country.  Google is world-wide so making the project from the outset
capable of working world-wide would be reasonable.  But we all know about
reasonable assumptions...
