Frank, to the best of my current recollection I had a Billingham Eventer
and didn't use it because I found it too large and cumbersome. I may have
sold it to a member of the OKCLUG. I do have a black Leica M combination
bag such as Lluis mentions and I use it as a compact walk around bag on
days I am walking around. Like most photographers I have way too many bags
but it is one I often reach for.

A resource for bag discussions is

I have ordered many bags from B&H because of their liberal return
policy.....but then for some reason I rarely return them.

Current favorites include a black Domke that looks like a briefcase and can
go to the office or courthouse, a Filson David Alan Harvey messenger style
that carries more stuff and is very lightweight and a Fogg eFlat. I had a
Filson Harvey backpack but sold it because I didn't like the design (too
deep! on my back!) and it was painful on my aged spine.
